As a celebrant, I‘m endlessly touched by the stories of those of you whom I’m blessed to meet and who become my clients.

You all have a journey and a story to tell. You all have your highs and lows, your challenges and your triumphs.

Life will present you with varied experiences – some to be enjoyed, others to be endured. I feel that it is most important to acknowledge and bear witness to these experiences.

To have the chance to mark these journeys, indeed to herald, to highlight and to celebrate these journeys, gives me my greatest satisfaction.

It goes without saying that your service, whether it be a joyous union, the birth of a child, a significant birthday or the farewell to a loved one, should be a treasured memory and a significant event in the lives of all who participate.

Whether there are one or two present or one hundred, everyone is important.

As Beethoven once wrote on one of his musical scores:
“From the heart….. may it go to the heart”
