As a celebrant

In planning celebrations I offer an initial face to face consultation, free of charge, in order to better understand your needs and to permit you to ascertain whether I would be the right celebrant for your important event. In the case of funerals, although the time is often limited, I believe it is essential, wherever possible, to meet with the family and/or friends to discuss and plan the service with you and to provide any guidance and support needed at such a difficult time.

I actively employ the skills of careful listening, providing support and ensuring a client’s wishes are respected at all times.

I work with my clients to:

Craft the Service
Select poetry and readings
Select Music
Write the Service
Write the Eulogy (for funerals)
Provide additional needs if required

Prior to delivering the service I always ensure that all my words are emailed, where possible, to the client for careful verification of facts, pronunciation and spelling of names. It is also important that the general “feel” of the service is congruent with my client’s wishes.

After the service you will be presented with a full copy of your ceremony or funeral service, complete with readings, quotes, poetry etc., in a simple white folder as a memento of the event.

As an Actor

I have been an actor and voice-over artist for over 30 years. My experience includes:

theatre, film and television work, including work over a 10 year period on the popular children’s T.V. series “Bananas in Pyjamas”
voice-over for radio, promotional videos, exhibitions and television commercials; for a voice over demo please go to - RMK
public speaking and presentations

I am currently:

the principal female promotional voice for ABC television
the principal voice of RailCorp on the train stations of Sydney and New South Wales
a reader for the recording of talking books at Vision Australia (formerly Royal Blind Society)
